The ExperienceBuilt Group welcomes Shelly Bouren to the team as VP-Strategy and Consulting


The ExperienceBuilt Group celebrates the addition of Shelly Bouren to the team as VP-Strategy and Consulting.


Shelly brings a rich client-side research history to the EBG team as they continue to collaborate with change-makers to close experience gaps and drive audience loyalty. She joins EBG following a challenging year that still saw innovative growth as the team quickly adapted to the expanded client need for improved emotional connections during our “together alone” experience.


For the past several years, Shelly was head of research for the Detroit Pistons of the NBA. Her role was crucial to business decisions on ticketing, corporate sponsorships, operations, marketing and entertainment. Prior to that Shelly worked in training and development to improve experiences for automotive sales and service customers. She has also held leadership roles in marketing and advertising, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Chapter of the Insights Association where she co-chairs event programming.


Shelly brings a rich client-side research history to the E team as they continue to collaborate with change-makers to close experience gaps and drive audience loyalty. She joins EBG following a challenging year that still saw innovative growth as the team quickly adapted to the expanded client need for improved emotional connections during our “together alone” experience.

Putting people first continues to be a key pillar for EBG’s experience design practice. Shelly’s decades of business experience, coupled with her analytical skills, will provide expanded support for business development and strategic consulting for clients looking to improve people relationships and experience development.

The “proudest soccer mom in the stands,” Shelly hails from Oxford, Mich., in the suburbs of Detroit, where she lives with her husband and three children. They enjoy spending time together at their family cabin in northern Michigan, where she is learning to enjoy all the seasons, even the snowy ones.
